DELTAENGINE is a framework for developing fan-games based on the 2018 indie RPG Deltarune in the GameMaker Studio 1 or GameMaker Studio 2 engines. The framework was made from the ground up, designed to be as accurate to the original game as possible to allow users to create their very own battles or full-length games with Deltarune's mechanics.

While it is currently still in development, DeltaEngine is at about 70% completion and aims to release by the end of 2023. Users will be free to use the framework for their own projects however they like, as long as they provide credit for using it.

I plan to use DeltaEngine for my own fan-game project, DONTFORGET, but it is primarily being made with the idea that other people will use it. Therefore, the framework is designed to be simple to understand, and pretty much every part of the code is commented to explain what it's doing. Documentation will also be included with the framework for users to utilize as reference.

Here is the initial announcement trailer for the framework. It's a bit outdated now as it's from 2020, but it still demonstrates what the framework can be used for:
