DELTAENGINE is a framework for developing fan-games based on the indie role-playing game DELTARUNE within the GameMaker engine. The framework was made from the ground up, designed to be as accurate to the original game as possible to allow users to create their very own battles or full-length games with Deltarune's mechanics.

While it is currently still in development, DeltaEngine has made good progress and and aims to release by the end of 2026. Developers will be able to use the framework for their own projects freely, as long as they provide credit for using it.

I plan to use DeltaEngine for my own fan-game project, DONTFORGET, but it is still being designed with other developers in mind. The framework is written to be as clear and flexible as possible, and the code will be thoroughly commented to help with understanding it. Documentation will also be included with the framework for users to utilize as reference.
